Junior Web Designer
YAK Agency, a communication agency in Padua, is looking for a Junior Web Designer to join its expanding staff.
His or her responsibility will be to support the agency's web UI/UX designer in the creation of website designs using Sketch or Figma, and to be able to report independently on his or her work with page builders (e.g. Elementor) on the Wordpress CMS.
Preferably, the person we are looking for has a professional background in graphic, web design, and a fundamental knowledge of the principles of responsiveness.
A strong propensity for teamwork and a willingness to learn with a view to growing in role and responsibility is required.
Essential requirements:
- Knowledge of the use of web graphic design software and subsequent design of a graphic layout using Sketch and/or Figma.
- Knowledge of Responsive design principles and Mobile websites.
- Possession of the basics of HTML and CSS, or in general of the CMS (Wordpress) used to build today's responsive websites.
Nice to Know or Plus
- Programming fundamentals
- SEO/SEM oriented: design of a web project adapted to marketing needs and SEO optimisation.
- Knowledge of CSS compilation (SCSS, LESS, SASS).
- Good knowledge of at least one foreign language (English).
